2017 to 2018
To start with 12 acres of land that will be lent to the Organization by the Founder to start to grow and process industrial hemp. To be run, managed by Military Veterans. Working with the South Carolina Department of Agriculture we will provide jobs and education. Pending licensing application availability.m
Puerto Rico is exceptional for agriculture. Medicinal Cannabis is legal. The Island is currently missing the knowledge of growing, production, manufacturing and distribution of medical grade Cannabis and potentially other holistic – homeopathic herbs. Facilitating knowledge in conjunction with the Department of State, the Department of Agriculture, the University of Mayaguez, The Department of Veterans Affairs, would be a significant positive economic impact on the island.
Puerto Rico, St. Croix and St. Thomas has a large military veteran population. It would serve as a perfect place for PTSD related behavioral studies. Presently a group of scientists and doctors are very interested nationally and internationally to conduct studies.
This location also has a high potential to educate and train veterans in agriculture, mechanical repair, and informational tel hnology as described for the Florida Pan Handle.
Mexico, Los Cabos and Baja California:
This property provides a unique training opportunity for military veterans in the area of hotel/resort services as well as wellness training. This property would be developed as a full scale resort and used to train veterans in hotel and resort services.
University of Florida, Department of Agriculture is in agreement to assist A.V.F.S. Inc. in securing a ranch on the pan handle of Florida. and assist in grant writing and providing teaching and education of agriculture, farming and cattle to our military veterans. Also we will provide homes by donations of pre-fabricated homes, cabins, future will be for the veterans to manage, run and provide jobs to military veterans. This location can provide many educational and related job opportunities for veterans that include but are not limited to: basic agricultural education; supplying herbs for alternative homeopathic medicine; or development on novel apps related to alternative holistic or homeopathic medicine. In addition, this location could be expanded to initiate a business run by veterans and include acquisition, repair, and selling government surplus. Finally, this location offers a high potential to collaborate with local federal VA and/or academics in the area of behavioral research to ultimately treat military related mental illness including PTSD.
Purchase property in the Denver and Colorado Springs area and provide housing for homeless veterans. Housing facilities will be according to government guidelines and strict regulations in treating the homeless population. In this particular state once property is purchased and is available for military veterans the Volunteers of America and the Department of Veterans Affairs and all services that assist the combat of homelessness will assist A.V.F.S. Inc. This location also represents a potential similar to that describe above for Florida pan handle for Research and Development pertaining to the use of Cannabis and CBD and other medicinal herbs to treat military related mental illness including PTSD.
