A.V.F.S. is organized and managed predominately by women, widows of veterans, and veterans.
MISSION and VALUES
A.V.F.S. mission is to assist military veterans to achieve a sustainable transition to family, civilian, and community life. A.V.F.S. accomplishes its vision by decreasing and preventing veteran homelessness, providing for successful transition for veterans into civilian life by training, education, self-empowerment, and well-being. In addition, A.V.F.S. will identify and collaborate with behavioral studies programs that identify, manage, and ultimately cure military related Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other veteran related mental Illnesses.

STRATEGIC PLAN
A.V.F.S. will apply for financial support from federal, state, and private sources in order to achieve its mission as well as maintain the A.V.F.S. organization. A.V.F.S. will decrease mental illness, homelessness, and unemployment by:
- Providing referral services and treatments in homeopathic and other natural therapeutic services
- Collaborate with behavioral studies programs to understand, identify, monitor, and treat military related PTSD and other veteran related mental illnesses
- Secure properties and housing in the United States
- Provide education to military veterans in areas such as agriculture, information technology, wellness, and mechanical repair
